Open Studio Memberships
A relaxed, independent space for experienced makers. Membership gives you the freedom to create, explore, and refine your work at your own pace — without a class structure or tuition.
Please note the membership is open - we just don't sell it on the website and use a separate platform to manage it. We always like to speak to you first, and welcome you to visit the studio before signing up.
Membership Options:
Core Membership: £120/month – 4 hours/week
Extended Membership: £240/month – 8 hours/week
Minimum 2-month commitment. Clay & firing charged separately.

Studio Access:
Mondays 1 PM – 3 PM & 7 PM - 9 PM
Wednesdays 5 PM - 7 PM PM & 7 PM – 9 PM
Fridays 9 AM – 11 AM, 11 AM – 1 PM, 1 PM – 3 PM, 3 PM – 5 PM
Saturdays 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM (changes occassionally depending on bookings)
Studio has 6 wheels and communal handbuilding tables.

- Tea, coffee, and calm creative vibes always on tap
- A free 30-minute studio induction – we’ll show you around and answer any questions!
Clay & Materials:
Choose from our smooth or grogged white stoneware clay, available to purchase directly from us.
You’re also welcome to bring your own glazes – new glazes must be tested with a test tile first.
Firing fees are charged separately and invoiced per item.

Who It’s For:
- Experienced makers (completed a Clayful Hands course or equivalent)
- Confident working independently without tuition
- Good understanding of clay care, glazing, and firing
- Comfortable in a shared, self-directed studio space
How to Join:
Membership is by enquiry first. Please contact us to discuss your experience and membership options. Once approved, we will provide the link to sign up and explain how the membership booking works.
You will then have access to our live calendar where you can select your sessions each month, within your weekly/monthly allowance and space availability.

Studio Handbook:
All members receive a copy of the Studio Handbook outlining rules, safety guidelines, and studio etiquette. By signing up, you agree to follow the handbook and respect the shared studio environment.
Clay & firing charges are invoiced separately. Please do not bring external materials without consulting staff.
